The Independent Church of Zambia (ICOZ) has urged all political parties to put their houses in order ahead of next week crucial elections.

ICOZ Board Chairperson Bishop David Masupa says the people of Zambia want to have peaceful elections as opposed to the new culture that they have introduced just to be in power.

Bishop Masupa says the political players need to be responsible in the remaining nine days before the day of voting.

He says it is very clear that the people of Zambia have spoken out their minds on this vice of violence and that they have rejected it in totality.

He says there is need for political players to avoid any form of violence as they wind up their campaigns.
