Advocacy Against Child Abuse and Gender Based Violence  has expressed concern that none of the nine presidential candidates is coming out clearly on how they intend to put to an end Gender Based Violence (GBV) in the country.

Executive Director Bellion Chola says GBV has been identified as one of the greatest challenges in social development in the country and therefore calls for all leaders to show commitment in ending this vice.

Mr. Chola says there is need for collaborated efforts if gender based violence is to be stamped out completely.

He says it is for this reason that his organization is worried that politicians are not bringing out messages of how they intend to deal with this challenge in order to improve the social development of citizens.
