Political parties have been encouraged to take pride in the confidence that has been reposed in the Zambia’s electoral system by independent observers.

Zambia’s High Commissioner to South Africa Emmanuel Mwamba thinks that the international audit on the Country’s electoral system and the forensic audit on the voters’ register has brought local and international confidence that in fact Zambia’s electoral system is rig-proof.

Mr. Mwamba notes that this is besides bringing  the confidence that its electoral system cannot be tempered with and that it is also credible.

He believes that these two audits have also revealed that Zambia’s electoral system does meet some of highest standards in Africa.

Mr. Mwamba says it is therefore no surprise that other Countries on the continent have continued to learn from Zambia in how to hold free, fair and credible elections.
