MMD President Felix Mutati
Former Lunte Member of Parliament Felix Mutati has welcomed the intention by President Edgar Lungu to turn Lunte into a district.
Mr Mutati who is MMD faction president says the creation of Lunte district will help accelerate socio-economic development in the area.
He adds that the creation of Lunte district will also help attract new investment and businesses to the area which will in turn spur economic activity in the area.
Mr. Mutati has noted that decentralization of government operations for the effective and efficient delivery of services to the people is key as it benefits and improves their livelihood.
