JCTR hails parties’ co-existence in Livingstone

The Jesuit Center for Theological Reflection (JCTR) has hailed the co-existence political parties have exhibited in Livingstone, Southern Province.

JCTR Executive Director Leonard Chiti says his organization has taken noted that political parties in the tourist capital have been campaigning without any incident of violence recorded.

Father Chiti has told Qfm News from Livingstone that this is what he believed has contributed to an exciting and peaceful political atmosphere in the District.

He says this kind of peaceful campaign should be replicated in other parts of the country where campaigns are taking place.

Father Chiti states that there should be no engaging in physical fights in a Democracy as a means of wooing people to vote for a particular political party.
