Crowds are deceptive, parties advised

Political parties have been advised not to base their confidence of winning the forthcoming elections on the crowds of people turning up for their rallies.

Non Governmental Organisation Coordinating Council (NGOCC) board Chairperson Sara Longwe says politicians should wait until the results of the elections are declared to know who will emerge victorious.

Ms. Longwe points out that political parties should not be deceived by the huge crowds of people turning up for their rallies that they will win the elections.

She says political parties should instead prepare to accept the outcome of the August 11^th elections.
