Mr. Moono says the cases also include allegations of bribery during the adoption process of some candidates.

He says investigations have been instituted in two cases and are still ongoing.

Mr Moono states that three cases have been referred for administrative action as the information fell short of the need to institute investigations.

Mr Moono says the Commission strongly advises political party players to respect the rule of law by desisting from vote buying or bribing electorates to influence them to vote in a certain pattern as well as giving gifts, loans or other material things to as inducements or gratification to voters.

He has further encouraged members of the public to report suspected cases of electoral corruption.
