Presence of God Ministries International, Apostle, Christopher Kunda has encouraged Zambians to participate in the national day of prayer for peaceful elections slated for 24th July.

Apostle Kunda says it is important for the nation to continue seeking the face of God in all times especially at a time when the country is heading towards elections.

He however, states that Zambians and especially politicians should take the prayers seriously and not go back to their old ways after the prayers, reminding them that God’s name should not be used in vein.

Apostle Kunda says it is hoped that the call for prayers is genuine and not a political gimmick.

He stresses that political leaders are expected to demonstrate change in their behavior after the prayer, stating that they will not be deceiving anyone if after the prayers; they decide to go back to engaging in violence and other contrary activities.
