Nawakwi counsels self declared winners

Forum for Democracy and Development (FDD) President Edith Nawakwi has advised her fellow presidential candidates to desist from declaring themselves winners even before the elections are held as this is recipe for post election confusion.

Ms Nawakwi says when these presidential candidates claiming victory lose the elections; their supporters will not accept thereby causing chaos believing that the elections have been manipulated.

She says politicians must desist from things that may lead to chaos after the elections.

Meanwhile the FDD Leader has called for issue based campaigns ahead of the polls.

She says violence is the enemy of development and progress and thus the need to stop it by all players.
