MMD appalled, violence has continued in Zambian politics

The opposition MMD says it is appalling that politics in Zambia have continued to be marred with violence.

MMD Felix Mutati faction National Secretary Raphael Nakachinda says his party is in fact puzzled that some political parties are trying to use force and violence to navigate their way into power.

Mr. Nakachinda says the only way the MMD knows best is competing through ideas.

He says the ruling PF just the MMD won the 2011 and 1991 elections respectively based on ideas.

Mr. Nakachinda says political parties contesting the forthcoming elections will thus do well to keep in mind that elections are not won through violence.
