Printing of ballot papers delays

The Electoral Commission of Zambia (ECZ) says the Printing of Presidential and Parliamentary ballot papers in Dubai has not yet commenced.

ECZ public relations manager Crispin Akufuma has confirmed in a telephone interview that the commencement of the printing of ballot papers is still awaiting the arrival in Dubai of the Patriotic Front representative.

Mr. Akufuna says the PF representative is likely to arrive tomorrow.

Mr Akufuna however states that the printing of mayoral and council chairperson ballot papers has continued smoothly and will be completed soon.
