The opposition UPND has demanded that President Edgar Lungu apologies for the number of innocent citizens that have continued to die by the hand of the police.

The UPND is also asking Inspector General of Police Kakoma Kanganja to also apologize to the Zambian people.

UPND Lubwa Ward Chairman Chisankama Mudenda says should both men not apologies his party’s youths will be left with no choice but to demonstrate against them.

Mr. Mudenda says his party’s youths think that the continued killing of innocent and unarmed citizens is a scandal that should not be entertained.

He says what happened on Friday in Lusaka’s Chawama Township where woman was shot by is inhuman and be condemned by all well meaning Zambians.
