HH should be responsible enough – Tayali

Opposition UPND president Hakainde Hichilema has been challenged to be bold enough and take responsibility where he errs.

The Zambian Voice is disappointed that instead of admitting that his party was wrong to disobey a Police order not to go ahead with a rally on Friday last week, Mr. Hichilema has opted to play a victim.

Executive Director Chilufya Tayali says his organization in fact finds it unfortunate that Mr. Hichilema has also used as opportunity to campaign the shooting of a civilian in last week’s incident.

In a statement to QTV news Mr. Tayali states that the Zambian Voice thinks that it is wrong for Mr. Hichilema to take advantage of something that is sorrowful to campaign for himself.

He says his organization is of the view that last Friday’s shooting to death of a civilian should end by a cry for loss of a life.
