Champions Gor Mahia will be looking for their eighth win on the bounce when they host Kakamega Homeboyz at Moi Stadium Kisumu on Sunday.

Mighty K’Ogalao are in fine fettle at both ends of the pitch conceding only one goal in seven games while netting 12 times.

Despite being docked points by the Independent Disciplinary committee (IDCC), everything seems to be going well for Gor who have looked a class apart in recent weeks.

Rwanda’s Meddie Kagere is back in the squad and could be drafted in the match to team up with his countrymate Jacques Tuyisenge and speedy winger Eric Ouma, alongside Francis Kahata and George Odhiambo.

Gor are third with 29 points and victory could see them climb to the top of the log.

Although they beat Homeboyz 3-0 in the first leg match played in Mumias, Gor should brace for stiff resistance from the Kakamega-based side that recruited massively in the just-ended June transfer window.

Homeboyz brought in capable goalkeeper Jairus Adira, striker Stephen Wakhanya and Nigerian hitman Abbas Akinyemi, all who have massive SPL experience and, on paper, will take some beating to lose

The Kakamega side was held to a barren draw by Bandari last weekend, at their Mumias backyard and will definitely be looking to stun Gor Mahia to prove their sceptics wrong.
