EFZ concerned Zambian politics have degenerated

The Evangelical Fellowship of Zambia (EFZ) has expressed concern that politics in Zambia have now degenerated into regionalism.

Executive Director Pukuta Mwanza says his organization has observed that there now regions that some political parties have declared as no go areas for other political parties.

Reverend Mwanza says his organization has also take note that political violence in the Country has escalated but with leaders of political parties remaining mute.

He states that the EFZ has seen that some of this political violence is actually being done in retaliation.

Reverend Mwanza says this is however against the Christian principle which says if one is offend one should not retaliate.

He says  his organization would like to see a situation where Zambians begin to emulate and ask themselves what Jesus Christ would have done if confronted by an enemy as opposed to retaliating.
