Political Scientist Dr. Alex Ng’oma says political parties will be partly to blame if the referendum to adopt the remaining part of the constitution fails.
Dr. Ng’oma says it is a shame that political parties have lamentably failed in their responsibility to sensitize people on the importance of voting in the referendum.
He notes that political parties are deliberately ignoring sensitizing people on the referendum, while failing to talk about the referendum.
Dr. Ngoma has since encouraged political parties to use the remaining time before the elections to sensitize people on the referendum during their campaigns.
