Executive Director Richwell Mulwani says his organization is wondering why any Zambian can shed blood if the Country is well known for valuing democracy and the rule of law.

In an interview with QTV Mr. Mulwani states that his organization does not see any reason why people in the Country should begin killing each other if election meant so much to the nation.

Mr. Mulwani say AVAP feels that the Zambia Police must rise to the occasion and stop such levels of political violence in the Country.

He says his organization fears that if this is not done the August general elections will be marred with high levels of voter apathy.
