Respect the laws, ZANACO Management told

The Zambia Union of Financial and Allied Workers (ZUFIAW) has urged ZANACO management to respect the laws of the land.

ZUFIAW President Chingati Msiska says it is unfortunate that ZANACO has gone ahead with the voluntary separation even after the union and management agreed to look at proper terms before implementing it.

He explains that there was a lot that needed to be done before ZANACO could go back to the voluntary separation citing that in the past, voluntary separation did not work well for the members.

Mr. Chingati says the union had made a plea for negotiations but that ZANACO management has ignored that adding that ZANACO should listen to the cry of the worker.

He has however urged their members to remain calm as they look at the process stressing that they hope it will be reasoned amicably.
