WAYNE and Coleen Rooney proved that they’re just like the rest of us after they were spotted flying economy as they jet off to Spain for a holiday.

The mum of 3 and her and her footballer husband posed for a photo with a fellow passenger as they prepared for a trip to Formentera.

A passenger who was travelling to Ibiza spotted the couple as they settled in for their flight together.

Wayne and Colleen happily posed for a photo with Toni Williams, who later shared the snap on Instagram.Sipping on an orange drink, Coleen went makeup-free for the flight as she sat next to her hubby following England’s Euro 2016 defeat.

The pair put their football woes behind them as they checked-in on the £88 Jet2 flight before spending time on their yacht off the coat of Formentera.

Coleen supported Wayne throughout the England matches, but was forced to intervene after her 6-year-old son, Kai, was featured crying on the front page of a national newspaper.

The mum-of-3 took Kai to watch husband Wayne Rooney and the rest of the England team play against Iceland in a knockout EURO 2016 game.

Taking to Twitter, the 30 year old wrote: “Yes I’ve seen that front page and it’s absolutely shocking!!”

She also retweeted a number of messages from fans, including one which read: “Don’t understand people giving @ColeenRoo abuse on here.

“Did she play? Did she pick the team? She was there supporting the lads. Behave.”

And attempting to reason with the cyber bullies, Coleen also posted: “Everyone’s entitled to their opinions but am gutted like every other England fan. (sic)”
