Parties have literally failed to explain manifestoes -YALI

The Young African Leaders Initiative (YALI) has observed that political parties have literally failed to explain their manifestos to the electorate.

YALI President Andrew Nthewewe says politicians should not ignore the advice coming from different stakeholders for them to dwell more on their manifestos as opposed to attacking each other during rallies.

Mr. Nthewewe says the whole idea of launching party manifestos is to make sure voters are well enlightened.

He notes that so far, there is no single political party that can convincingly state that they have fully explained their manifestos to the electorate.

And Mr. Nthewewe has expressed concern that certain solutions being offered by some political parties in addressing the challenges facing the youths are unattainable.
