The Treatment Advocacy and Literacy Campaign (TALC) has noted with concern that the budgetary allocation to the health sector has been reducing under the Patriotic Front Government.

TALC Executive Director Felix Mwanza says this is the reason why the country has been experiencing drugs stock outs in health institutions.

Mr Mwanza says in order to avoid drugs stock outs; there is need for government to allocate more resources to the health sector if the country is to remain on the path of growth.

Mr Mwanza states that his organization is therefore hoping that the government will allocate enough funds to the health sector in the 2017 national budget.
