Vote yes to referendum, Zambians urged

The Islamic Supreme Council of Zambia is encouraging Zambians to vote yes in the referendum on the bill of rights.

Council President Suzyo Zimba says this is because the bill of rights is important to the Zambian people.

Mr. Zimba says Zambians have waited for too long for the bill of rights to be expanded thus it is time to deal with it once and for all.

Mr Zimba says the Islamic Supreme Council of Zambia has since intensified sensitization on the bill of rights not only among the Muslim community, but Zambians as a whole so that as many Zambians as possible turn out to vote.
