The Foundation for Democratic Process (FODEP) has noted with concern that campaigns have been dominated by character assassination.
FODEP Information and Research Officer Richard Mulonga says campaign platforms are being used for character assassination, rather than telling prospective voters how their living standards will be uplifted.
Mr. Mulonga says with the general election just around the corner, presidential aspirants are at their usual best attacking one another at the expense of real issues.
Mr. Mulonga has reminded political parties that the people of Zambia want to see sustainable development, hence the need for politicians to address pertinent issues that affect the economy and tell the people HOW THEY intend to tackle those issues.
