The opposition Rainbow Party has observed the need to change the current amended constitution saying it has so many errors.

Rainbow Party Deputy Secretary General Dr. Cosmas Musumali says Zambia has no constitution worthy talking about.

Dr. Musumali, who is also Rainbow Party President Wynter Kabimba’s Running Mate, says Zambians made good recommendations towards the constitution making process but a number of the clauses were thrown away by the PF so as to suit their needs.

He says the fundamental issue was to reduce the powers of the president which he says has not been done.

Dr. Musumali says if voted into office, the party would go back to the submissions made by the people and enact them in order to have a good constitution unlike this current one which he says lacks taste of a good constitution.
