President Lungu during the tour of Kafue Steel Plant
The National Association for Medium and Small Scale Contractors has commended Republican President Edgar Lungu on his decision to increase the participation of local contractors in the construction industry to more than 40 percent.
Speaking during in an interview with QTV News in Lusaka today, Association president Mutale Mpepo says there is need for government to engage more local contractors.
He says the money earned by local contractors remains in the country, hence contributing to the development of the country.
Mr. Mpepo states that local contractors are capable of delivering quality works.
