UPP pledges to fight corruption once in power

The United Progressive People has pledged to prioritize the fight against corruption if it forms government after the August 11 general election.

UPP president Savior Chishimba says corruption has become a cancer affecting members of society.

Dr. Chishimba says there will be zero tolerance to corruption under the UPP government.

He notes that corruption has been tolerated for too long, hence the UPP will make it a priority to fight graft conclusively.

Dr Chishimba adds that the UPP will also focus on regaining Zambia’s leadership status in international diplomacy in Africa and the rest of the world.

Mr. Chishimba said this at a media briefing to launch the alternative UPP foreign policy in Lusaka today.
