ZCSD Executive Secretary Lewis Mwape
The Zambia Council for Social Development (ZCSD) has noted with disappointment that political party leaders have focused on personal attacks at the expense of explaining their party manifestos to the people.
ZCSD Executive Secretary Lewis Mwape says while political party leaders are pulling large crowds to their rallies, they are spending most of their times attacking each other instead of explaining how they intend to deal with the current social and economic challenges the country is facing.
Mr. Mwape adds that while political leaders are reluctant to talk about their manifestoes, they are eager to attack each other openly.
He says people want to hear how the many challenges the country is facing ranging from the economy, agriculture, energy and other sectors will be addressed.
