Political Scientist Dr. Alex Ng’oma
Political Scientist Dr. Alex Ng’oma has encouraged Zambians to thoroughly study political party manifestos and weigh the possibility of political parties fulfilling their promises when in power.
Dr. Ng’oma says it is important that people scrutinize the promises politicians are making to them and see if they are attainable.
He points out that the promise of free education from Primary level through to tertiary level is not possible, and that politicians making such promises want to ride on the people’s misfortunes.
He states that in order for people to hold politicians accountable for the promises they are making, they should fully understand what they are being promised by reading the manifestos of political parties.
