PF’s inconsistency worries UPND

UPND Chairman for Rural Reconstruction and Development Moono Mapani has observed that policy inconsistency by the PF government has contributed to killing the agriculture sector.

Mr. Mapani says since 2011, the PF government has been making policies in the agriculture sector and reversing them, an indication that they do not understand how to run the sector.

He says the Agriculture sector is a key sector in alleviating poverty as well as revamping the country’s economy by introducing favorable policies.

Mr. Mapani states that the hike in the maize floor price by President Edgar Lungu from K75 to K85 shows the levels of inconsistency under the PF.

He says if government wants to win the people’s trust, they should make policies that will benefit the people.
