Mulongoti shocked PF wants to come out clean of violence

People’s Party President Mike Mulongoti says it is shocking that the Patriotic Front wants to come out clean with regards to the violence that has characterized the campaigns.

Mr. Mulongoti says political parties perpetrating violence should not run away from the fact that their cadres are violent, but should instead take responsibility.

He says political leaders should realize that their cadres engaging in violent activities are tarnishing the names not only of their political parties, but also those of their leaders which might cost them votes.

Mr. Mulongoti adds that it is high time political parties came up with disciplinary measures within their parties against members engaging in violence.
