Zayn Malik is reportedly getting advice from Adele

ZAYN Malik is reportedly turning to fellow singer Adele for advice after opening up to fans about his anxiety.

The Pillowtalk singer had revealed that it was the reason he was forced to pull out of his first solo UK performance at the Capital Summertime Ball.

Following the cancellation last weekend, the singer posted a heartfelt letter explaining himself to his fans.

He wrote: “Unfortunately my anxiety that has haunted me throughout the last few months around live performances has gotten the better of me… with the magnitude of the event I have suffered the worst anxiety of my career.

“I cannot apologise enough but I want to be honest with everyone who has patiently waited to see me, I promise I will do my best to make this up to everybody I’ve let down today.”

Now the Mind Of Mine hit maker is reportedly turning to Adele to help him overcome the issue.

An insider told the Mirror: “Zayn’s management are doing everything they can to help him because its having a major impact on his career.

“I believe he has been in touch with Adele’s manager Johnathan Dickins about it because Adele got a lot of help with panic attacks and stage fright – and look at her now.

“They’re pulling in people who can help him because he can overcome this and if he’s going to stay in music and singing he absolutely has to get it under control.

“After the issue last weekend it has become a matter of urgency.”

Adele previously opened up about dealing with her own anxiety, telling Q magazine in 2011: “I have anxiety attacks, constant panicking on stage, my heart feels like it’s going to explode because I never feel like I’m going to deliver, ever.

The When We Were Young singer also told them she “will not do festivals” as her stage fright was so severe at the time, but she is now preparing to headline Glastonbury next weekend.
