Reject violent parties, UNIP urges Zambians

The United National Independence Party (UNIP) is urging Zambians to take note of political parties engaging in violence and show them that they are not interested in violence come August 11th.Reverend Banda

UNIP Deputy Secretary General Reverend Alfred Banda says the political violence taking place in the country is a source of concern.

He says UNIP condemns the violence that has characterized campaigns in the country.

Reverend Banda says it is sad that only two political parties are perpetrating violence, while other parties have remained peaceful in their campaigns.

He says there is need for political party leaders to exercise political will and restrain their cadres from engaging into physical confrontations.
