The opposition All People’s Congress (APC) has added its voice in welcoming government’s announced upward adjustment to the maize floor price.

APC president Nason Msoni says his party thinks says government should be commended as it has responded at an appropriate time.
Mr. Msoni notes that the adjustment should give impetus to farmers to produce more.
In an interview with Qfm News Mr. Msoni says the APC also hopes that government’s move will also bring about stability in the supply and prices of mealie meal in the Country.
Mr. Msoni says this is especially at time that the Country is said to have recorded a bumper harvest.
