Zesco wins Kudos

Small and Medium Business Enterprises in Lusaka whose businesses are dependent on electricity are relieved by the reduction in the hours of load shedding by ZESCO following increased power generation at Itezhi Tezhi power station.

They have told QTV News that the move by the power utility to reduce the hours of loadshedding from eight to four hours will positively contribute to the growth of their respective businesses.

They have however; appealed to ZESCO to reduce even further the hours of load shedding in a day to at least two hours taking into consideration that their business depends on power.

Those talked run Barbershops, hair salons and restaurants, while others are involved in welding.
