Over 800 marketers in Petauke district were this morning beneficiaries of the Presidential empowerment loans.
Presidential Empowerment Fund patron Kitwe Chanda Kabwe has disclosed from Katete by telephone that beneficiaries received loans ranging from K500 to K2000.
Mr. Chanda who is also Kitwe District Commissioner says the loans were given based on of the kind of business the beneficiary is involved in.
He says this is a demonstration of how President Edgar Lungu is walking the talk in changing the lives of the people in the informal sector.
