FDD’s Mwanza resigns as Reformed Church Minister

Forum for Democracy and Development (FDD) Presidential running mate Reverend Dr Clement Mwanza says he has resigned as a Minister of the Gospel in the Reformed Church in Zambia.

Reverend Mwanza says he will now remain an ordinary member of the Reformed Church.

He explains that his participation in active politics is his personal decision, and that by doing so he is merely exercising his rights as a Zambian citizen.

Reverend Mwanza says he intends to contribute to the development of the nation in a different way through politics, adding that he brings a different way of doing politics by virtue of his Christian background.

He further states that he believes the FDD has a lot to offer to the people of Zambia in terms of leadership.
