Vote your own choice, NAREP tells members

The opposition National Restoration Party (NAREP) has encouraged their members and supporters to vote for the President of their own choice because the NAREP candidate Elias Chipimo Junior is not standing.

NAREP Presidential Spokesperson Bwalya Nondo says since the party has no presidential candidate, members are encouraged to vote for any candidate of their choice during the August 11th general elections.

And Mr. Nondo says the party is confident of getting more parliamentary seats in the August 11th General Elections.

He says because the party did not field in a presidential candidate, their focus has been on campaigning for their parliamentary candidates in order to win more parliamentary seats.

Mr. Nondo says the candidates are doing well and most of them will win their respective seats.

Meanwhile, the NAREP Presidential Spokesperson says the party will not support any political party now and in an event that there is a rerun.

He says just like the party is not supporting any political party now; they will not enter into an alliance with any party during the rerun period.
