Rights Watch concerned about escalating political violence

The Disability Rights Watch is concerned with the escalating levels of political violence ahead of the elections.

National Coordinator Bruce Choma says the continued violent activities may have a negative impact in terms of the participation for persons with disabilities.

He explains that persons with disabilities may have limited capacity to defend themselves or to run away from the environment where there is violence.

Mr. Choma has since appealed to political parties to campaign peaceful so as to allow persons with disabilities to also participate.
