Agriculture Minister Given Lubinda says Zambia has all the ingredients to be the food basin of Africa.

Mr. Lubinda says this is the more reason the PF government has put diversification on the top of the agenda to maximize the potential that the country has.

Mr. Lubinda says the PF Government also wants to capitalize on what the nation has to offer in the agriculture sector.

He says interventions have significantly contributed to agricultural diversification, which he says is a positive development that will not only enhance food availability in Zambia, but also in the region.

He adds that the challenge in the country still remains the amount of investment coming into the country.

Mr. Lubinda has since called on the outside community to consider investing in Zambia’s agriculture sector.
