YALI Governance Advisor Isaac Mwanza
The Young African Leaders Initiative (YALI) is impressed with the peaceful campaigns so far exhibited by political parties taking part in the August 11th General Elections.
YALI Governance Advisor Isaac Mwanza says despite the pulling down of campaign materials by some cadres, the campaigns so far are impressing.
Mr. Mwanza says this is considering that in the past there were ugly incidences of violence which was worrying to most Zambians.
He says if political players can maintain this kind of atmosphere, the country will hold peaceful elections.
Mr. Mwanza has however encouraged political parties to allow their opponents campaign freely in their strongholds.
