Sweden to launch energy facility in Zambia

Swedish Ambassador to Zambia Henrik Cederin has disclosed that Sweden is in the process of launching an energy facility in the Zambia.

Mr. Cederin explains that the energy facility that will be set up will help provide solutions for off grid energy.

He adds that tenders will soon be open adding that by the end of the year, the process would have begun.

Mr. Cederin says as soon as the tendering process is complete, they will announce the first actors who will get contracts.

He further states that the energy facility is one way of helping Zambians to deal with the energy crisis especially those in rural areas.
