Political parties dwelling on petty issues – Tayali

The Zambian Voice has observed that political parties have so far dwelt more on petty issues in their campaigns at the expense of real issues affecting the people.

Executive Director Chilufya Tayali says his organization is concerned that political parties seem not to have what to tell the Zambian people anymore.

Mr. Tayali says this explains why they have continued attacking each other as opposed to selling messages that would make the electorate vote for them.

He says what is even more disappointing is that this is particularly happening at a time when some political parties have launched their manifestos and master plans.
