Former National Restoration Party (NAREP) Presidential Advisor David Kapoma says the slow pace exhibited by political parties to campaign ahead of the August 11th General Elections shows that political parties are banking for a rerun.

Mr. Kapoma says it is very clear that political parties are aware that there is no party that will win in the first round and thus the need to prepare for the rerun in advance.

He says political parties do not want to exhaust all their little resources during the campaigns when they know that there is a possibility of going into the rerun.

Mr. Kapoma says if this is the case, political parties are making a mistake as they are failing to sale their messages to the electorates and wonders how possible it will be for them to be voted into office without convincing the voters.
