ECZ to conduct credible polls

The Electoral Commission of Zambia has Reassured political stakeholders that it will conduct free and fair elections come August 11^th.

ECZ Public Relations Manager Crispin Akufuna has since appealed to political parties to allow the Commission do its job.

Mr Akufuna says political parties should on other hand create a conducive electoral environment ahead of the elections.

He says all candidates participating in this year’s elections are therefore expected to uphold the electoral code of conduct.

Mr Akufuna has also appealed to all political party leaders to embrace tolerance and peace during campaigns.
