The Anti Corruption Commission (ACC) has been urged to fight electoral corruption with the earnest it deserves if the vice is to be curbed.

Young African Leaders Initiative (YALI) president Andrew Ntewewe has observed that the challenge in fighting electoral corruption has been the fact that the ACC has not taken a preventative approach against the vice.

Mr Nthewewe says the fight against electoral corruption and sensitization against it should be on a long term basis.

He has told QTV News that given the fact that Zambia is headed for landmark elections, it is also YALI’s considered view that the ACC and other stakeholders must heighten sensitization.

Mr Ntewewe says his organization is already on the ground urging and encouraging the electorate not to sell their voters cards ahead of the general election.
