The Operation Young Vote (OYV) has expressed worry that people in Solwezi District of North Western province appear to be disengaged with regards the referendum on the Bill of Rights.
Guess Nyirenda
OYV Executive Director Guess Nyirenda has told Qfm News from Solwezi that his organization has taken note that people do not actually know what is going on.
Mr. Nyirenda says this is an indication that people in the District do not have motivation and interest in the referendum.
He adds that this also entails that the Country may just hit a hard rock should government and the Electoral Commission of Zambia (ECZ) go ahead and hold the referendum alongside the elections.
