Convention has united MMD – Nakachinda

The opposition Movement for Multi- party Democracy (MMD) says it has now emerged united following the holding of the national convention.

MMD National Secretary Rapheal Nakachinda says the MMD is in what he has termed as state of good health and back on course.

Mr. Nakachinda says the MMD will defend itself from any people who want to destroy it.

He says the MMD being the mother Democracy in Zambia it must not be allowed to die.

And Mr. Nakachinda says the new party leadership intends to ensure that the alliance the MMD and the ruling PF have cemented yields better results.

He says the MMD will ensure that President Edgar Lungu wins this year’s elections in the first round.
