Police recover dead body in Lusaka’s Lilanda area

Police in Lusaka have recovered a dead body of a man aged between 35 and 40 years in Lilanda area.

Police Assistant Police Public Relations Officer Esther Mwaata Katongo confirmed the incident in Lusaka, saying the body the body has been picked and deposited in UTH mortuary awaiting identification by relatives and a post-mortem.

Ms. Katongo says a body was picked this morning with all body parts intact but with a deep cut on the head as he is suspected to have been hit by a stone on the head.

She says the body was discovered by a passerby around 05 00 hours in Lilanda area 1 KM from Lilanda market.

Ms. Katongo says the deceased has not yet been identified.

She says he is fair in complexion, wearing green T- shirt and Blue shorts with white snickers.
