It is wrong thinking to suggest my ousting -HH

UPND president Hakainde Hichilema says it is wrong thinking for anyone to suggest that he should be replaced as UPND president should he lose the August general elections.

Mr. Hichilema says he is not in the UPND to get a benefit.

He says being in the UPND is not about being its President but to serve the people.

Mr. Hichilema notes that he already had a life outside politics and therefore he only came into politics to serve.

He thinks it is the issue of what the people of Zambia want that therefore matters adding that becoming Republican President does not evoke any  excitement in him.

Mr. Hichilema says it is in fact a painful thing to be republican President.

He notes that this entails that whether it is his last chance to be UPND president or not is not an issue because he has never though it to be like that.

Mr. Hichilema however says if it happens that the people of Zambia decide not to allow the UPND under his leadership to govern the Country, that will be the decision of the people.

He says it will not make him cry at all if the people of Zambia make this decision.
