Growing economy key to realization of vision 2030 – Mwanakatwe

Commerce, Trade and Industry Minister Margaret Mwanakwate says the realization of the vision 2030 still lies in the Zambian economy growing and remaining productive.

Ms. Mwanakwate says people in their respect organizations must perform to the expected standards and goals.

She says this is the more reason the focus of the performance based contracts for Permanent Secretaries is on her Ministry’s key deliverables and targets.

Ms. Mwanakwate was speaking this morning when she signed new performance contracts for statutory bodies that fall under her Ministry.

And Ms. Mwanakwate has urged board chairpersons of her Ministry’s statutory bodies to take the performance contracts very seriously and work hard to achieve the set targets.

She has also requested the board chairpersons of these bodies to expedite their strategic plans and ensure that they are implemented to latter.
